I woke up late.

I woke up with a sore head.

I woke up to a text from my wee sister asking what my favourite Malt was…. err wtf?!

I was not having a good morning.

I went to Pret for lunch, asked for tomato soup. Got back to my desk, and found they’d given me Sag Aloo by mistake….

I was not having a good lunch. Hungover, and without tomato soup.

I spent the rest of the day reading over papers…. in meetings… sending e-mails, by 6pm I was dying on my feet after a fairly shit day.

But, there is light at the end of the tunnel! I texted my flatmate who’d just recently returned from her holiday in New York and we went out to Mercado’s  for much needed Margarita’s and Mexican food. After I was sufficently fed and watered we wandered back home…. I had to climb onto a chair and change the lightbulb in the hallway.

Not really a good idea when you’ve had a few margarita’s.. trying to balance on a chair, and being a short arse… but eventually the task was done, with no minor or major injuries and to celebrate I flopped down to chill and watch FlashForward on Ch5 Flashforward whilst sorting out mails etc.

Mondays… never could get the hang of them.
