Nose to the grindstone

Urgh…

I’m back. Back with a vengance.

I get into the office for just gone 9:30am, straight onto the phone for a sift panel with Swansea…. Finish that off around 11am, then it’s nothing but meetings till around 3pm.

My brain is fried.

I leave work, do the trek home i.e.

507 to Victoria
The Tube
^^ as if I ever get a clear platform like that
then the no. 73 back home.

and flop down tired, and sore. My sinuses started aching around lunchtime. Was it the fact that I was back in the office? Perhaps I’m allergic to either something in the office or work? Whatever it is, my head is pounding, my face is aching… even after sticking that squirty thing up my nose to try and free the sinuses.

Oh there was one highlight to the trip home. I popped into WH Smiths at Kings Cross on the way home and pick a monster size pack of batteries;

and no… get your filthy mind out of the gutter now!
These batteries are to replace the knackered pair in the doorbell. I finally got sick fed up of the thing not working and wanted to fix it.

What an exciting life I lead.

It’s going to be a quiet night tonight, cause I’ve got a bitch of a day tomorrow.

8:30am start, as I’m sitting on the Civil Service Round Table discussions at The Atrium

to discuss falling budgets and IT in Government….
at fecken 8:30 in the morning.
I so need an early night, cause it’s gonna be painful getting there in time tomorrow. I don’t do mornings, but you’ve probably guessed that by now.
Meh.
